Aramco is Saudi Arabia's state oil company. It will pay about 2.6 billion dollars in cash during 2026, plus its own AI and computer assets.
What Humain does
Humain was set up in May 2025 to build AI for Saudi Arabia and the world, Aramco said. It builds data centres, AI cloud services and AI models.
Its models include ALLaM, an AI model that works in Arabic. Data centres are large buildings full of computers that run AI.
The plan for power
Humain plans to build 3 gigawatts of AI data centre power by 2030, Aramco said. One gigawatt is about the output of a large power plant.
Aramco said it will use Humain's systems to bring AI into its oil and gas work.
What the bosses said
Aramco chief Amin Nasser said the deal is very important to the company. He said Aramco has gained 11.3 billion dollars of value from technology since 2023.
A PIF leader said joining the two firms' AI work will help Humain grow into a global leader.
