A 1024 by 1024 picture takes 0.59 seconds on Nvidia's DGX Station with the fast 16 step build, a chart on the blog shows. It takes 8.9 seconds on a GeForce RTX 4070 in the INT8 build.
Nvidia measured the times, the blog says. The full weights need 11.2 GB of memory, and the FP8 build needs 5.6 GB.
Below we break down the API price: 9 dollars for 1,000 pictures
The API starts at 0.009 dollars for a picture of about 1 megapixel, the blog says. So 1,000 pictures cost 9 dollars, by our arithmetic.
