Ideogram Vector: editable SVG art from $0.13

Ideogram released Ideogram Vector on the 22nd of October 2026, the company said in a post on X. It is the company's first model that makes vector art from a written request or a picture.

Vector art is saved as an SVG file. It stays sharp at any size, from a stamp to a billboard, and you can change each shape in it on its own.

Ideogram Vector works in the Ideogram app and in its API

The model is live in the Ideogram app and in the API, Ideogram wrote in its post. An API is a door that lets other programs use the model.

In the API the model is called ideogram-vector-1, Ideogram's model page shows.

Two ways to use it: from words or from a picture

With "Text to vector", you describe a design in words and can add pictures as a guide, the model page says. With "Image to vector", you upload a picture and it turns into an SVG file.

The page names logos, print designs and drawings as uses.

Below we break down the price per SVG file, from 10 to 32 cents

Ideogram's model page lists a price in US dollars for each SVG file. A file from words costs 13 cents at low quality, 16 at medium and 20 at high.

Adding guide pictures at high quality raises the price to 32 cents, the same page shows. That is 60% more, by our arithmetic.

Turning a picture into an SVG file costs 10 cents. So 100 logos from words cost 13 dollars at low quality and 20 dollars at high, by our arithmetic.

What is confirmed and what is not

The model page does not say which Ideogram plans can use Vector in the app. It also does not say how many credits, the units that pay for each picture, one file uses.

Ideogram's plans run from free to 60 dollars a month for Pro, its help pages show.
